Sweatin to the Oldies

i am not a fan of old people. they are boring, overbearing, drive way too slow, aren't up to date with anything, etc.. my boss has to be about 80 years old. i keep finding out just how ancient this guy really is. he served in world war II and has been running this business for over 50 years after he graduated uc berkeley. although this man is ancient and has severe lordosis (leans over like half a foot, big hunch in back) he is legit. this guy is far and away the coolest old person ever.

i recently found out he has to drive about an hour to go to his dentists office because he has been seeing the same guy for 56 years. this guy makes sure that all the other medical people in his life are younger than him because he has a history of outliving them. he is outliving people that work in the medical profession. he is healthy as hell considering he still works seven days a week and never misses a beat. i dreaded the fact that he was taking me out to lunch the other day because i had to ride with him and he is a great driver still. lunch was sweet not only cuz i got paid on the clock to eat a delicious blt, but there was a maintenance of conversation. this guy is pulling it off and still has a lot going for him. he must obviously be planning at least a few more of work cuz we still keep getting new equipment for everything. i must even point out that it is him that puts on the air conditioning in our office.

the only way to describe this man other than old as hell is either legit, or the tits. he is hands down the best old person ever and will be the only one that i truly respect, and maybe even look up to, and that includes my grandparents. pretty much all other old people are not my cup of tea although i must give a shout out to old man black, grammy, mr goodman's personal indian, and morgan freeman.
